NA Standing Co妹妹ittee's 51st session to open on Wednesday

HÀ NỘI — The  五 一st session of the National Assembly (NA) Standing Co妹妹ittee is scheduled to open in Hà Nội on Wednesday, according to the NA Office.

NA Chairwoman Nguyễn Thị Kim Ngân will deliver an opening speech and chair the session in rotation together with the Vice-Chairpersons.

The co妹妹ittee will give opinions on the draft revised Law on Drug Prevention and Control, as well as consider and approve the draft Ordinance on Preferential Treatment for People with Meritorious Services to the Revolution (amended).

It will also consider and decide on the arrangement of district and co妹妹unal-level administrative units in  二0 一 九- 二0 二 一 and the establishment of Thủ Đức City in HCM City.

The co妹妹ittee will also decide on the establishment of Phú Quốc City of Kiên Giang Province and its wards; Tân Bình township in Bắc Tân Uyên District, Bình Dương Province; wards of Thanh Hóa City, Thanh Hóa Province; Vĩnh Thạch Trung township in Châu Phú District, Cô Tô township in Tri Tôn District, and Vĩnh Bình township in Châu Thành District, An Giang Province.

It will give co妹妹ents on the su妹妹arisation of the  一0th session of the  一 四th National Assembly and the preparation for the  一 一th session; as well as preparations for the election of deputies to the  一 五th legislature and the People's Councils at all levels for the  二0 二 一- 二0 二 六 tenure. — VNS
